Unified and walking away third in the state, the Owasso Unified Volleyball Team just finished their state tournament in their first year competing. The team worked hard to show everyone their talents—an achievement that deserves to be celebrated.

Both of the Owasso Rams boys and girls cross country teams placed second at Regionals to advance to the State Championships. Oct. 30, 2021 was the anticipated date for all runners across the state.

Many students within OHS have picked up the hobby and, as a result, the D&D club was born. Students of OHS wanted a place to gather and share their creations so that’s what Andrew Altman set out to do.

Most people may sit and wonder what the key to success is—ambition? Or perhaps luck? For Ronnie Walker, our school's very own National Merit Scholar, it’s a cherry Pop-Tart in the morning. 

McClellan also has more than 30 offers from several other notable schools, including the University of Florida, the University of Oklahoma and Ohio State University.

This year, to no one’s surprise, Owasso Varsity cheer have become state champions once again, which is their sixth time back to back winning state.

Coach Collins has found his biggest passion in coaching the sport of running as he has been around the sport since the age of seven.

The Pride of Owasso will be returning in 2023 to participate in the same parade they were in seven years ago.

I have graciously volunteered to make an attempt at answering these questions, or at least making it easier for others to decide. I have visited the three biggest chicken wing restaurants in Owasso with help from Jackson Nester and Ian Busking to determine what flavors are the best to order and which wing restaurant is worthy of the title, “Best Wings in Owasso.”

Sometimes it can be hard to keep track of all the new take-out chains opening in Owasso, so it’s not often when an entirely local restaurant captures Owasso’s heart, yet, it’s Phawida Boonbang, also known as Pandy, who is managing to do just that. 

The We Matter foundation and Owasso High School have taken the initiative to help not only inform people about suicide, but also help prevent it.

Passion, fashion, talents and tricks: the 16th annual Mr. Owasso pageant truthfully had it all.

It’s not uncommon for students to feel anxious or uneasy at school. Luckily, the students here at Owasso High School have a perfect escape for that.
