While his position monitors every aspect of the PAC, most who know him associate him with the PAC’s sound system. Dubbed Owasso High School’s “Man of Sound.”

Owasso Lady Ram Soccer’s New Coaching Staff
Nearing the end of their preseason, the Owasso Lady Rams Soccer Team experienced the unexpected loss of their head coach, resulting in the assistant stepping up and taking over. Abraham Khalil, better known as Coach K, previously coached soccer at Broken Arrow but moved to Owasso at the beginning of the year due to his liking of the district and players.
Turnpike Troubadours return to Tulsa
The Turnpike Troubadours represent a story of trailblazing and defiance in what it means to make it in country music. Seemingly, the Tahlequah based band has stayed true to their roots. Led by lead singer and songwriter Evan Felker, the Troubadours sound is unique and artistic but it still holds true to the genre, a rarity in the modern country music scene.
Equality Club: memories we made
As you walk through the door, you hear laughter filling the dimly lit room. People playing card games in a circle invite you to join in. Others are lying on a couch playing games on their phones, the rest happily chatting away in groups. This is Equality Club.

I still struggle with certain textures and strong, unfamiliar flavors. So, to further break out of my sheltered mindset toward food, I decided to eat/drink dishes I would normally find unpleasant.

The incredible feats that aviation has accomplished often go unnoticed today. Luckily, Pryor High School is looking to make students excited about learning skills and techniques to build their own flying machines.
The long awaited Diablo IV beta is here
It’s been three years since the Blizzard Entertainment studio announced “Diablo IV”. Between the remaster of “Diablo II” and the release of the mobile port for “Diablo Immortal,” Blizzard (the creator of “Diablo”) has had a lot on its plate; luckily for fans, they rarely disappoint.
Student Spotlight: Austin Tate
Lead roles or first-place talent show wins are common ground for Owasso’s Austin Tate. At only age 16, Tate has already collected an esteemed portfolio working with some of today’s most notorious actors.
Parks to visit during spring
Spring is approaching fast in Owasso. Each morning, the town wakes up to warmer temperatures and sunnier days. The color is returning to plant life and quickly becoming vivid greens, yellows, whites, and purples.
March Madness at Owasso
Many people enjoy the chaos that ensues from March Madness; the brackets and betting, the competitions and hurt feelings, the memories made and friendships lost. Some of these people include our very own Owasso High School staff.
Lana Del Ray sends love from Ocean Blvd
Lana Del Ray always finds a way to slip a memento of her personal life into her albums. Each song encapsulates small bits of her herself through metaphor: a peach sitting in the sun too long, a cherry coke with a bent straw, the warped American Dream. This album, though, feels like a whole museum of her life in song.
Owasso’s 2023-24’ head freshman football coach
A year ago, James Burkhalter was approached by Coach Blankenship and asked to come coach for Owasso’s football team. Burkhalter is in his 18th year of coaching, with Owasso being his fourth instructor position.
