The City of Tulsa held its 7th annual Native American Day event on Monday, October 9th, boasting a wide variety of tribal nations, student associations and native organizations in attendance. Hosted by the Greater Tulsa Area Indian Affairs Commission, the event included a parade, cultural exhibitions, vendors and more.

The Owasso High School Native American Student Association prepare their float in the parade, dedicated to the longstanding tradition of Native American athletics.

Various participants make their way to their designated spots in the parade.

Participants relax and converse as they wait for the parade to begin.

A sheet with the words “LAND BACK” hangs on a fence in the park.

Attendees enjoy food trucks, vendors and Southern-style native singing as they wrap up the afternoon festivities.
