Owasso is known for its number of fast food restaurants, from chicken huts to burger joints to Mexican restaurants. But Owasso has been missing one important food group: dessert. Braum’s has dominated Owasso’s sugary sweets category, but with new restaurants like Nothing Bundt Cakes opening shop, the people of Owasso are eager to try something new.

We at Owasso Rampage decided to try the “Signature Bundtinis,” which included four different flavors: Red Velvet, Chocolate, Lemon and White Chocolate Raspberry. The Bundtinis were presented neatly, with four columns of the four different flavors, and we are giving them our honest rating.

Red Velvet

These Bundtinis stuck out among the rest. The dark red velvet color stood out among the ordinary flavors. The first bite was a perfect mixture of icing and cake, and you get that initial taste of a slightly tart edge.

“10/10 Very tasty- not too much frosting and not too dry,” Katelyn Fisher describes.

Chocolate

You can’t go wrong with a classic flavor like chocolate. The smooth chocolate flavor was not too rich or overpowering, making it easy to consume way more than one probabl. With bits and chunks of chocolate chip, it added a pleasant crunchiness. 8/10

Lemon

Lemon cake, in general, is something that I personally am not a fan of, but Nothing Bundt Cakes gets their lemon flavor spot on. Most lemon cakes I have tried have had too much lemon flavor, but the Lemon Bundtini seemed to deliver the flavor with perfect subtlety.

“The lemon was sweet but still sour enough to not be overpowering, and the cold buttercream frosting added a great texture to the moisture of the cake,” Olivia Voth states. 9/10

White Chocolate Raspberry

White chocolate and raspberries are a delightful mixture of sweets and berries, making your taste buds gleem with joy. The white chocolate consumes most of the flavor, but the subtle hint of sweet raspberry seems to reel in the white chocolate taste. 8/10

All of Nothing Bundt Cake’s Bundtinis have a few things in common. The cake itself has perfect moisture, and the essential buttercream icing on top completes every single bundt cake. Our class enjoyed each bite of these Bundtinis, and we highly recommend you get yourself a tasty treat at Nothing Bundt Cakes!
