Owasso High School’s football team is nothing short of spectacular, drawing a huge audience with every game.

Owasso Skatepark is one of Owasso’s many hidden gems.

Whenever we hear about the environment, it is often a depressing statistic about how humans are slowly killing the planet, and no matter what we do, the damage is already done. However, there is hope within our communities.

Walking around backstage at the Mary Glass Performing Arts Center, you’ll find ropes, pulleys, and weights behind a bright yellow line that screams, “Do not cross!”

The Owasso Invitational Marching Contest (OIMC) is one of the most important days in Owasso’s competition band season.

The first year of high school is never easy: being thrown into a swarm of hormonal teenagers, sharing the halls with intimidating upperclassmen and the pressure of a memorable final four years before emerging into adulthood are enough to scare anybody into an introverted shell.

If you take a walk down the sidewalk of the Redbud district, you might notice a new addition to the north-facing building across city hall: a beautiful mural. This piece of art has been done by Owasso High School’s very own Shelly Collins.

The magic and whimsicality of the OHS Art Show have finally arrived. With different styles and progressions of art, the whole school seems to enjoy what each art class from 6th grade to 12th grade has been working on all year. One can see how different the OHS art classes turned out to be this year, resulting in responses from students in Art 2, Art 3 and AP art.

On Friday, May 3rd, the Class of 2024 gathered for Senior Awards, Senior Picnic and an assembly involving Beyonce, Martian rappers and a hypnotist.

Students wishing to continue their athletic career into college often find themselves confused by the process. There is a long list of tasks beforehand that are required to get to the point of signing with a college.

One of the largest and most prominent groups within our district, the 2024 seniors of the Pride of Owasso, have been together since sixth grade and have shared more memories than they can count.

Owasso’s very own fishing team is helping this generation of teenagers re-instill social interactions back into their daily lives. 

This April 30th, as the PAC stage curtains were unveiled and the overhead lights began to dim, the OHS 2024 talent show began.

The work that bus drivers do often happens behind the scenes; however, they work very hard for the school, the students and the community.

Sophomore Grace Rogers has undoubtedly excelled at being a flyer on the Owasso Cheer Team. Cheering for over 11 years, Rogers has been a revolutionary addition to the team.
