While her time at Owasso was short-lived, Jaycee embraced the Rampage, Varsity Swim and Softball teams, and her fellow classmates. She served as a sports writer for the newspaper and even started the concept of a coach’s column. Attending Northwestern Oklahoma State with a major in communications in the fall, Jaycee is still taking time to explore different opportunities. You can still catch her on the field, though, since she’ll be playing on her university's softball team! Whether it’s doing something she loves or simply just spending time with friends, Jaycee is always living in the moment. Her bubbly nature will be missed dearly, but we know she will still be laughing and channeling the positive vibes both now and in the future.

Katie McEldowney

Not only is Katie the Creative Writing queen, but she also is one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet! With plans to further her education at Tulsa Community College, Katie aims to eventually publish her own poetry collection. She has already begun sharing her work through social media platforms, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for her future! During her time in high school, Katie helped run a support group for those struggling with anxiety and depression. With a goal of becoming a caseworker in the future, our staff knows that, though we won’t have Katie’s energetic presence, her supportive and uplifting nature will be doing good elsewhere.

Gabby Merten

A senior with a passion for short story writing, Gabby can often be found working on ideas for new characters and plots. Working as an academic writer for the Rampage, she kept the student body updated and even found time to enter several short story competitions! The next phase of her life will be in Wichita working towards an MFA in creative writing. Known for her intricate storytelling, Gabby hopes to pursue a career in writing. Her favorite memories of the class are the endless laughs we shared, especially during our Tulsa World trip! Gabby has left some big shoes to fill in the both the journalism and creative writing aspect of the class, but we can’t wait to see what she’ll accomplish in the coming years!

Bradley Luczak

Look out folks because Bradley Luczak is going to be a household name in the near future! With several sci-fi novels under his sleeves, Bradley continues developing ideas that are quite literally out of this world. His work is currently featured on the website, but this young Bradbury has no intention of stopping there. With a goal to publish his work, Bradley is sharpening his skills and plans to grow as a writer as he will soon embark on a collegiate journey. Bradley has truly broken out of his shell, and you, along with our entire Rampage staff, should certainly be on the lookout for his name to be recognized as a best-selling author.
